Rye Rooftop Bar

Prominently located in the heart of Rye, this rooftop bar is the newest addition to the famous promenade. The owner of this establishment, a passionate local, has now taken full advantage of the views from this vantage point.

Inspired by its location and proximity to the sea, the façade of the building was modified to feature two large porthole-shaped windows, a sentiment that has been echoed in the design of the bar, and a large wrap around outdoor terrace has been designed to be enjoyed all year round. The interior of this multi-functional space features booths that can be hired for private parties, an area for bands with a dance floor and bespoke sound ceiling, and a quiet nook by a cosy fireplace.

The brief for the colour scheme was "fun and fresh"; a destination venue during the summer months with cocktails and tapas inspired food, and a place the locals could enjoy a beer at all year round, all while taking in the amazing view.
